After a tough loss last week, the Seahawks are looking to bounce back in this interdivisional matchup against the Rams.
The Rams have been solid all season long. The offense for the Rams is very underrated, along with the talent over there on the offense.
Let’s take a look at some keys that will lead to a Seattle Seahawks victory.
Limit the Big Plays
The Rams are one of the best teams in the NFL at utilizing the play-action to set up big plays. The Seahawks defense is giving up a lot of big plays weekly. To limit the big plays, it starts in the trenches. Win the battle up front and limit the rushing attack. If the Seahawks can do this, then it makes it easier to get stops against the Rams.
Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp are a great duo of receivers for quarterback Jared Goff. The Rams offense, as a whole, is underrated and can be very tough to stop at times. The front-seven for the Seahawks will need to step up in this game and shut this rushing attack down. If they can do that, then it makes things easier for the defense on the back end. Limit the big plays and it will look good for a Seahawks win.
Win the Turnover Battle
Winning the turnover battle is not usually a key to victory for the Seahawks, considering that they have Russell Wilson at quarterback. But, Wilson did have four total turnovers in last week’s loss against the Bills. Anytime you have four turnovers in the NFL, it is tough to win.
Don’t expect Wilson to make the same mistakes as last week. Let Russ cook and take care of the ball, and hopefully, the Seahawks can get back on track. Winning the turnover battle is a big key to a big division win.
D.K. Metcalf vs. Jalen Ramsey
Wow, look at this potential matchup. I can’t wait to watch these two players go at it on Sunday. D.K. Metcalf vs. Jalen Ramsey is going to be a heavyweight fight all game long.
We all know about cornerback Jalen Ramsey; still one of the league’s best cornerbacks today. Combine that with the rise of D.K. Metcalf, and we have a special matchup on tap. I don’t need to say much more. This is going to be a physical matchup, and something to watch over the course of the game. Sit back and enjoy the show, NFL fans.
I feel comfortable taking the Seahawks as a +2 underdog. I would also take the over on this game at 54.5 total points. Thank me later.
Seattle’s defense has been one of the league’s worst when looking at yardage. I like Robert Woods to have a big game in this one.
With Jalen Ramsey likely covering D.K. Metcalf on Sunday, look for this to be one of those huge Tyler Lockett games.
My score prediction for this Week 10 matchup is 30-27, Seahawks.
